Only 50 winners on stage at the Aalto Theater were awarded, in front of an audience that included many star designers. Auluxe, a newly founded innovative brand based in Taiwan, is proud to report that their firstly launched product, the Dew-Mini Hifi a 2.1 channel speaker system, was bestowed the ‘red dot product design award 2009.’

A model of the Auluxe’s Mini HiFi range, the Dew uses real wood cabinets to achieve the optimal resonant effect in mini speakers in order to reproduce sound effect comparable to high-end quality. In cabinet design, the Dew displays a perfect match of metal and wood in a streamlined arrangement to deliver an outcome that combines ultimate sound quality and excellent visual effect. With the exclusive driver technology, Auluxe uses a wide range of choice natural materials to build the drivers for the Dew to deliver the most natural and purest sound without coloration. These include the Angora wool, dampening materials, linen, and wood-pulp compound diaphragm.

In addition to presenting the best resonance with real wood cabinets, the subwoofer is designed at the bottom of the cabinet non-directionally to increase the power and extension of the bass effect. The 6-degree elevated front panel integrates design aesthetics to phase alignment algorithm. Apart from the streamline appearance, a gradational visual effect of the driver is reveal through the metal grill. When sitting on the R-shaped stand with a sandblasted surface treatment, the Dew as a whole is an art of fashion and delicacy.
